July 13-16 MORNING: Science Olympiad Life Sciences & Chemistry Sampler (ages 11-17 by Sept. 1, 2026)

Do you have a child that loves botany, anatomy, has an interest for lab science, a gift for naming the stars, digs into figuring out codes and ciphers, or maybe a passion for the environment?  We’ve created a week-long exploration of Science Olympiad events that cover these topics and more!  Join us and find out what it’s like to be on the team, what events are available for the upcoming year, and do some brief test-runs of different events (chosen based on group consensus!) 🦠🧪

July 13-16 AFTERNOON: Science Olympiad Engineering Sampler (ages 11-17 by Sept. 1, 2026)

Have you been considering joining Science Olympiad?  Does your student love to build? This is the camp for you!  Take a tour of Science Olympiad rules, learn about (and build!) some of next year’s planned build events (chosen based on group consensus). Find out what’s involved in being on the team when you have Engineering events–how does it work, what will you do, what does it take to do well?  Will your child be inspired?  Come find out!   🏗️🔨

July 17 ALL DAY (9:30am-2:30pm with 45 min lunch): Microscopy Intensive

Using a microscope can be a challenge.  We’ll learn what the parts of the microscope do, how to use it with both direct and back-lighting, and how to prepare our own wet-mount slides including using some dye.  By the end of the day, your student will know how to maneuver their specimens to get the view they need! 🔬🔎
