Tween & Teen Summer Camps

Students age 11-16

Morning sessions are 9:30-11:30am.  Afternoon sessions are 12:30-2:30pm.  Students attending full days will incur a small fee for supervised lunch time.

NOTE: Students who are disrespectful to others and/or disruptive will be removed from camp without a refund.

June 8-11 MORNING: A week in Great Britain

Pack your bags for an exciting adventure at our Exploring Great Britain Summer Camp, a fun and interactive 4-session experience designed for students ages 10–15! Campers will journey across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland through hands-on activities, games, cultural challenges, and creative projects inspired by famous landmarks, history, traditions, and geography. From castles and capitals to quirky customs and modern culture, each session brings a new discovery while encouraging teamwork, curiosity, and global awareness. It’s a brilliant way to travel, learn, and have fun—no passport required! 🇬🇧✨

June 8-11 AFTERNOON: Viking Voyage

Get ready for an epic journey into the world of Vikings at our four-morning summer camp designed for ages 10–15! Campers will dive deeper into Viking history, exploring real-life expeditions, Norse mythology, and the daily lives of these legendary seafarers. Through hands-on projects, they’ll design and decorate their own shields, build and test model longships, and learn navigation skills Vikings used to cross vast oceans. Along the way, they’ll take part in team challenges, strategy games, and creative problem-solving activities inspired by Viking culture. This camp combines history, adventure, and teamwork—perfect for curious minds ready to think, create, and explore like true Vikings!

July 6-9 AFTERNOON: A week in France

Bonjour, adventurers! Join us for an exciting journey at our Exploring France Summer Camp, a fun and interactive 4-session experience designed for students ages 10–15. Campers will explore French culture, landmarks, history, food, language, and traditions through hands-on activities, games, creative projects, and team challenges. From famous monuments and regional discoveries to everyday life in France, each session offers something new to explore while building curiosity, confidence, and global awareness. It’s a magnifique way to travel the world, make new friends, and have fun—all without leaving home! 🇫🇷✨

July 13-16 MORNING: Science Olympiad Life Sciences & Chemistry Sampler (ages 11-17 by Sept. 1, 2026)

Do you have a child that loves botany, anatomy, has an interest for lab science, a gift for naming the stars, digs into figuring out codes and ciphers, or maybe a passion for the environment?  We’ve created a week-long exploration of Science Olympiad events that cover these topics and more!  Join us and find out what it’s like to be on the team, what events are available for the upcoming year, and do some brief test-runs of different events (chosen based on group consensus!) 🦠🧪

July 13-16 AFTERNOON: Science Olympiad Engineering Sampler (ages 11-17 by Sept. 1, 2026)

Have you been considering joining Science Olympiad?  Does your student love to build? This is the camp for you!  Take a tour of Science Olympiad rules, learn about (and build!) some of next year’s planned build events (chosen based on group consensus). Find out what’s involved in being on the team when you have Engineering events–how does it work, what will you do, what does it take to do well?  Will your child be inspired?  Come find out!   🏗️🔨

July 17 ALL DAY (9:30am-2:30pm with 45 min lunch): Microscopy Intensive

Using a microscope can be a challenge.  We’ll learn what the parts of the microscope do, how to use it with both direct and back-lighting, and how to prepare our own wet-mount slides including using some dye.  By the end of the day, your student will know how to maneuver their specimens to get the view they need! 🔬🔎

July 20-23 MORNING: A week in Italy

Ciao! Join us for an exciting journey at our Exploring Italy Summer Camp, a fun and interactive 4-session experience designed for students ages 10–14. Campers will explore Italian culture, landmarks, history, geography and traditions through hands-on activities, virtual tours, cultural challenges, and creative projects inspired by everything this diverse country on “the boot” peninsula of Europe has to offer.  Each day offers something new to explore while building curiosity, confidence, and global awareness. It’s a great way to inspire a passion for travel and history, make new friends, and have fun—all without leaving home! 🇮🇹 ✨

July 20-23 AFTERNOON:  Italian Kitchen

Mangia, mangia!  Does your child enjoy being in the kitchen? Come learn about Italian food and make some Italian snacks and treats to share with your family!  We will start the week with an introduction to the ingredients commonly used in Italy and follow it with making some simple recipes to share with family – including recipe cards to help recreate these delicious treats at home.  This may be a difficult camp for students with food allergies as much of what we will be making will include dairy or gluten among other allergens.
