[rara_toggle title=”Is This Level a Good Fit for My Child?” status=”close”]Students MUST be able to participate meaningfully and appropriately in a group setting (taking turns, treating others with respect/kindness, etc.).  Supplies assume a specific number of small groups.  Our classes are part discussion/explanation to open and then “doing things”.

Students must be able to read and write at an age-appropriate level for this course.  Spelling does not have to be perfect at this point as long as their work can be read phonetically.

[rara_toggle title=”Parent Considerations” status=”close”]Families that want to participate in Upper Elementary Junior Great Books in the mornings will have a lunch break between the morning and afternoon sessions

This is a course that will push children to investigate and explore.  As a result, parents need to be prepared for students to want to go “off course”.
