What Does Class Time Look Like?
Circle time will be spent in a variety of tasks and social activities to help students learn problem solving techniques, feel more comfortable with math, build a growth mindset around math to help them persevere through difficult periods of learning, and learn how to use math in new ways or recognize it in their lives where they may not have seen it before to dispel the mentality that math is an isolated subject.

Parent Considerations
This is a teen-oriented circle and students should be able to interact with others in a positive way.  Disruptive, disrespectful or teasing others about their abilities will not be tolerated.

We will offer some level of student choice and rotated between problem solving techniques, games, and doing mindset math activities to help students see their relationship with math in a more positive manner.
