Dungeons & Dragons is a role-playing adventure fantasy game that is a “choose your own adventure” facilitated by a central storyteller called the “Dungeon Master” (or DM). Players also use special dice (which can be provided by our DM) to help determine degree of success/severity and sometimes choices.
Adventures almost always include weaponry (but not guns/firearms) and may include references to creatures such as “angels”, “demons”, “devils”, “dragons”, “dinosaurs”, “eldritch creatures” (similar to aliens), “undead” (zombies, skeletons, ghosts, vampires, etc.), “magic”, “spells”, “potions”, fictional gods and fictional polytheistic religions. Our Dungeon Master does not put any kind of sexual content into our campaigns.
For students who have never created their own characters. Learn how to properly fill out a character sheet and keep track of character resources. Understanding the character sheet and managing it makes it much easier to understand and play the game, and helps the game run smoother for all parties involved.
This session only needs to be taken once.
Legacy 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons will be used.
Fall session dates:
- Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2:30-3:30 pm
